Job Summary">

We are seeking a skilled Media Relations Specialist to manage our media relations, develop proactive content and work closely with our Social Media team.

">

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive and able to respond to reactive media enquiries. They will also contribute to speech writing and play a key role in issues management and on-call media roster.

">Main Responsibilities:">
  • Media Engagement: Respond to media enquiries, deliver proactive content, manage interviews, brief spokespeople and develop collateral.">
  • Speechwriting: Draft speeches for the company's speakers bureau in alignment with media content and policy priorities.">
  • Social Media: Create and post content that supports media activity and provide backup to the Social Media team when needed.">
  • Issues & Crisis Management: Support the Head of Media & External Communications in managing issues and crises as they arise.">
  • Reporting & Analysis: Use our media monitoring platform to deliver daily news updates, provide tailored reports, track emerging issues and share insights with stakeholders.
