Family Support and Early Intervention Case Worker

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to fill this challenging case management position.
About the Position- This case manager will provide initial screening and assessment, developing a family case plan with parents and carers to improve safety and connectedness to local community services.
- A suitable qualification in human services or equivalent experience and skills is required.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as awareness of current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in case management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with working with traumatised and vulnerable children, young people and families.
- An understanding of attachment, trauma theories, child development and resilience.
- Capacity to liaise effectively with community services, other agencies and the community.
