About the Role
  • Key responsibilities include full month-end accounting, P&L, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis. You will also be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, cheque processing, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, allocating payments to debtor accounts, issuing refunds, and confirming invoice settlements.
  • Assist with year-end reporting and respond to internal and external stakeholder queries. Additionally, you will work closely with the team to ensure accurate financial records and efficient processes.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in high-volume environments. Previous exposure to month-end processes is essential.
  • You should have experience using MYOB Advanced, strong Excel skills, vlookups, and pivot tables. Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills are also required.
  • A proactive attitude, switched-on, eager to learn, and willing to take initiative is necessary. Team players who thrive in a collaborative and energetic environment are encouraged to apply.
  • Happiness to commit to 5 days working in the office to receive full onsite training and take the next step in your career. Full Australian working rights are mandatory.
