At ULTRA Building Co, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to assist our Head office team in Bondi Junction for a 6-week period.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, financial reporting, document control, and reconciling statements. They will work closely with the finance team and liaise with all project teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing of subcontractor invoices, payments, and documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting
  • Process subcontractor invoices and payments
  • Manage document control, including printing, checking, and sorting copies of invoices and reconciling statements
  • Liaise with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient processing of subcontractor invoices and payments

Requirements:

  • Experience in Accounts Payable in a construction company or relevant building/trade entity
  • Comfortable with documentation required (invoices, claims, quotes, payment schedules)
  • Able to report to seniors and reconcile electronic versions with construction programs used by Project Managers and MD
  • Experience with cost control software Jobpac is beneficial
