Key Service Technician Role

A skilled Field Service Technician is required to join our team to deliver high-level customer service by repairing, commissioning and maintaining coffee machine equipment at client sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, test and perform routine maintenance and cleaning services on all types of commercial coffee equipment
  • Analyse equipment faults with diagnostic skills
  • Repair and modify items of equipment
  • Ensure good quality equipment and installations
  • Use computers for diagnostic work and administration tasks
  • Phone and technical support for clients
  • Develop and maintain good relations with internal and external customers
  • Maintain operational procedures and documentation
  • Perform Installation and commissioning of coffee machines
  • Train operators on coffee machines and attachments
  • Prepare coffee recipes and machine programming
  • Perform Planned Maintenance on coffee machines
  • Reactive Maintenance
  • Prepare technical reports for each service order
  • Provide product improvement recommendations
  • Provide clear feedback to customers on reason for service visit

Requirements:

  • Skills in hydraulic, mechanics and electronics
  • Ability to travel several days without returning home
  • Customer orientated and good communication skills
  • General knowledge of computer programs
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a service technician
  • Basic tools
  • Unsupervised work and rotating on-call roster for weekends and after hours service calls
  • Electrical or Electronics trade qualifications or equivalent
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills
  • High degree of customer service and personal appearance
  • Interpersonal, communication and listening skills
  • Right to work in Australia
