Civil Design Engineer Role

This position involves creating designs and drawings for roads and civil infrastructure projects.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of local authority and state government regulations and approvals.
  • They will also be familiar with software design tools such as 12D and AutoCAD packages.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in design and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating designs and drawings for roads and civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Create designs and drawings for roads and civil infrastructure projects
  • Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet project requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural engineering
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in design
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government regulations and approvals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on quality
