Strategic Sourcing Professional

We're seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented professional with strong procurement skills to drive commercial value through cost savings, cost avoidance, working capital improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business requirements.
This role will involve developing and implementing sourcing and negotiation strategies for logistics spend. You'll lead tenders/RFPs, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and communicate outcomes.
You'll support the commercial and sales teams with pricing for tenders, contribute to working capital targets, and ensure correct purchasing channels. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders is essential.
You'll execute and communicate Global Procurement contracts, ensure compliance with agreements and KPIs, and promote adherence to procurement, financial, and legal policies.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications are beneficial.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar procurement role within the logistics warehousing/transportation industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Project Management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience using SAP, Advanced Excel, and Power BI would be advantageous.
- Leadership and team management experience.
