Job Overview
The Payroll Officer role at Employment Hero involves delivering accurate and timely payroll services to Australian clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing and reviewing payroll with 100% accuracy.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with payroll partners and clients to ensure a seamless payroll experience. You will have the chance to build long-term relationships with clients and become their trusted payroll advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing
- Reviewing Payroll for Accuracy
- Preparing Payroll Reports
- Assisting Clients with Payroll Queries
- Identifying and Reporting Risks and Errors
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 1-4 Years of Experience in Payroll, Accounting, or Finance
- Hands-on Experience with Australian Payroll
- Familiarity with Fair Work, Superannuation, Tax, and Other Australian Payroll Regulations
- Strong Attention to Detail and Commitment to 100% Accuracy
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong Customer Service Mindset
- Proficient in Excel and Ability to Work with Payroll Data Confidently
- Able to Thrive in a Fast-Paced, Remote-First Environment
