Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Customer Account Manager, the Mechanical Service Technician will execute hands-on maintenance tasks for various HVAC systems, addressing both ongoing and upcoming projects in the Central Queensland area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of facilities
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical or control issues in HVAC systems
  • Planning and executing general electrical maintenance and repairs
  • Installing refrigerant piping, flow controls, and associated components
  • Providing estimates for service or installation tasks
  • Offering technical support as needed
  • Building strong relationships with clients
Qualifications and Skills

Ideal Candidate Attributes

The successful candidate will showcase their HVAC service experience and understand the dynamics of a rapidly growing business, along with the following qualifications:

  • Dual Trade Electrician / Refrigeration Mechanic is highly preferred
  • Possession of relevant State and National Trade Licenses (including but not limited to ARCTick, NREL, Construction Induction, etc.)
  • Valid Driver's License for the state of employment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Delivering high-level technical service to clients
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Capability to perform under pressure
