Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our growing Construction Management team.
About the Role:
This is a full-time and permanent opportunity to lead the delivery of Victorian site-based construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in transmission substation construction, with a proven track record in successfully delivering these projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead multidisciplinary teams of employees and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, risk assessments, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a current trade or tertiary qualification in electrical, building or construction management, significant experience with Transmission substation construction, VESI training and experience would be highly regarded, detailed knowledge of High Voltage electrical infrastructure, knowledge of electrical and civil construction methodologies and the integration of this into the planning phases of a project, knowledge and experience in the concepts and principles of subcontractor management, detailed knowledge of technical standards, construction practices and OH&S, proven ability to apply construction management principles EPC environment, longstanding commitment to ensuring safety standards and procedures are communicated and followed throughout the project lifecycle.
