Key Responsibilities- Owning and executing Canonical's threat intelligence strategy, including understanding and mitigating the activities of malicious cyber actors.
- Building and maintaining comprehensive OSINT research environments to identify and track emerging threats.
- Developing and sharing expertise in OSINT tradecraft, techniques, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform cybersecurity strategies and provide actionable insights on targeted intrusion threats.
- Establishing Canonical as a thought leader in the open-source threat intelligence community through active engagement and knowledge-sharing.
- A strong background in threat intelligence, with experience in leading similar initiatives or roles.
- In-depth knowledge of current open-source threat landscapes and computer networking concepts.
- Expertise in OSINT tools and technologies, including Buscador, Trace Labs OSINT VM, OSINT Framework, Maltego, Shodan, and social media scraping tools.
- Ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and experience working with distributed teams.
