Workplace Relations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workplace Relations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks, as well as excellent drafting and communication skills.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Drafting, reviewing and advising on employment contracts, policies and procedures;
- Advising on complex industrial relations and enterprise bargaining negotiations;
- Providing strategic advice on workplace issues such as performance management, grievances and terminations;
- Interpreting legislation including the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and associated regulations;
- Running and supporting litigation matters involving unfair dismissal, general protections and contractual disputes; and
- Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers and graduates within the team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' post-admission experience in employment law practice, a strong understanding of employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks, and excellent drafting and communication skills.
