Industrial Electronics Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electronics Technician to join our maintenance team.

  • As an Industrial Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying faults in electronics and communication equipment.
  • You will troubleshoot digital and analogue systems, including amplifiers, regulators, AC and DC drives.
  • A strong understanding of op amp and logic theory is required, as well as the ability to draw circuits from existing circuit boards and cards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Cert IV in Electronics and preferably an Associate Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering.

In addition, you will need at least 3 years post-trade maintenance experience on industrial electronic equipment and systems. A radiation license is an advantage, and experience in a heavy industrial environment is desirable.

The successful candidate will be well-organized, with a keen eye for improving systems and a methodical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and a high level of self-initiative.

Additionally, you must be committed to workplace safety and have a solid understanding of safe work practices and procedures.
