Our organization is seeking a Support Services Staff to work in Harden, NSW.

The role will involve working in various areas including cleaning, laundry and kitchen duties.

  • Maintaining legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
  • Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms and living areas
  • Cleaning communal and dining areas
  • Cleaning and sorting laundry
  • Maintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use
  • Adhering to infection control principles, WHS requirements including the safe storage and use of chemicals and complete cleaning requirements according to facility schedules
  • Completing required documentation and reporting
Responsibilities:
  • Kitchen Hand: Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks
  • Distribution of meals to residents, assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties
  • Dining room services
  • Providing excellent personalized service to our residents
  • Ensure duties are performed in accordance with Infection Control and Food Safety Handling Standards
  • Ensure a high standard and quality of cleanliness throughout the organization
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment

Requirements:

  • Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Currently hold and maintain a Police Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Must have COVID-19 vaccination
