Team Leader Position

The role of Team Leader is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are proactive, have excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of mechanics.

This position involves modifying and assembling machine components to meet customer specifications and OEM standards. It also includes installing systems and accessories such as fast fill units, live sampling systems, fire extinguishers, safety decals, handrails, and electrical components.

The successful candidate will conduct mechanical and cosmetic repairs, perform quality checks, and assist with product testing and inspections. They will also operate machinery within the workshop for movement and positioning.

An essential aspect of this role is accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with Australian regulations and OEM guidelines. Additionally, they will carry out mechanical assembly, component packaging, and basic equipment maintenance.

  • Prior experience in mechanical assembly, preferably within the heavy equipment industry, is highly desirable.
  • Able to lead, support, and provide direction to team members, fostering a productive and cohesive work environment.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, along with a strong grasp of safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions to ensure precise builds.
  • Experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic wiring, coupled with a solid mechanical aptitude.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality are essential for success in this role.
  • Keen to learn, grow, and take on new challenges, with a proactive approach to upskilling.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, making them an excellent team player.
  • Forklift license is preferred but not required.
