About the Role

Australian Red Cross is seeking a skilled Mental Health Trainer to join our team. As a Mental Health Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering non-accredited Mental Health courses to a professional standard, meeting WHS, Mental Health First Aid Australia, and Red Cross Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training that saves lives
  • Ensure training and all relevant resources are set up and delivered to a professional standard
  • Engage students with capacity for compassion and understanding given the content of the sessions
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of people
Requirements
  • Must be a current and accredited MHFA Instructor
  • Experience in facilitating training in community and corporate settings
  • TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable along with relevant industry-based training certificates and experience
