Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable and proficient Facilities Maintenance and Gardening Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our facilities, equipment, and outdoor areas to ensure they meet the highest standards in accordance with organizational policies and legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine upkeep tasks on facilities, equipment, and other assets.
  • Manage the grounds, including gardening, landscaping, and general outdoor maintenance.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all tasks.
  • Respond efficiently to maintenance requests to minimize disruptions.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to build effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrate a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Possess basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
  • Physically capable of performing manual labor and using maintenance and gardening tools.
  • Hold a valid NSW Drivers Licence (both Manual & Automatic).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain one.
  • Working at Heights Competency or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Chemical Handling Certificate.
