Exciting Opportunity for a Material Controller

Ignite is seeking a highly skilled Material Controller to join our team in Sydney Olympic Park. As a Material Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation and management of the material support function to our project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement material plans in synchronization with demand and in coherence with our processes.
  • Manage inventory and logistics within our production and manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and programs.
  • Manage multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and solutions to improve our material management processes.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP By Design, is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a supply chain role, including material planning and logistics.
  • Proven knowledge of inventory and logistics management within production and manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated experience working in project or program management, design, or product development with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP By Design, is highly desirable.
