We are seeking a strong and inspirational leader to join our team as a Store Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team and provide exceptional customer service.

A day in the life of a Store Manager at Petstock St Peters will be filled with:

  • Leading by example and mentoring your team to achieve their full potential
  • Coaching and developing your team's knowledge and skills
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience and leading from the front
  • Creating a strong safety culture and ensuring the well-being of your team
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and inducting new team members
  • Managing stock and ensuring accurate inventory levels
  • Staying up-to-date with pet care knowledge and products
  • Creating a fun and supportive work environment
  • Supporting local marketing initiatives and sponsorships

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar leadership role or a strong desire to take on a new challenge
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving targets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing team
  • High resilience and ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities
  • Ability to create a positive culture of safety
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Established business acumen
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work conditions
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills
