Business Intelligence Manager

Cyber Operations Division (COD) at ClearCompany is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead our team in delivering business intelligence objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Business Intelligence Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business intelligence strategy to support the integration, operation, management, and security of Defence's global strategic communications capability.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of business analysts, providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility, and guiding and developing team members.
- Policy Development: Operate legally and in compliance with public policy, building knowledge of relevant legislation and contributing to the development of Defence policies and procedures to ensure they continue to support business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain strong interactive relationships with a range of stakeholders, liaising to deliver business intelligence objectives.
- Performance Improvement: Motivate and mentor teams, aligning complementary skills and allocating resources to deliver results, assessing, evaluating, and improving data quality, business intelligence strategy, initiatives, projects, policy, and procedures.
- Complex Problem Solving: Analyze complex to very complex business intelligence issues, applying expertise to identify and recommend courses of action.
Cyber Operations Division (COD) is responsible for the integration, operation, management, and security of Defence's global strategic communications capability that enable military operations and support Defence business.
RequirementsAn ideal candidate will exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role, exercising sound decision making and judgement to provide expert policy advice. They will have in-depth knowledge of the business analysis function and be responsible for the development, implementation, compliance, and review of policies and procedures relevant to their work within that function.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with a full range of senior stakeholders across multiple fields to drive results, capable of independently identifying where business improvements can be made regardless of where they may exist.
Additionally, the successful candidate must have exceptional analytical, written, and oral communication skills, with experience with key briefing formats, and a proven ability to manage relationships, be flexible, agile, and able to multi-task in a busy environment.
