Job Title: Skilled Plumber Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced plumber to fill a key role within our team. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and associated equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with water, gas, and drainage systems promptly and effectively
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventative maintenance solutions
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety guidelines, providing training and enforcing the use of protective equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and system modifications
  • Monitor contractors' work to ensure quality standards and safety regulations are met
  • Assist in negotiating contracts covering scope of work, timelines, costs, and compliance requirements
  • Assess contractor performance upon project completion and provide feedback or resolution as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications

You should possess:

  • A qualified and licensed plumbing qualification in New South Wales, Australia
  • Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Pipefitting and welding qualifications highly regarded
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
