Test Leadership Position

We are seeking a skilled Test Lead to join our team in Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to leverage their expertise and take on a challenging leadership role.

  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data-focused testing roles, with at least 2 years in a test leadership or coordination capacity.
  • Strong technical expertise in SQL and hands-on experience testing data pipelines and transformations is essential.
  • A proven track record in data migration projects, ideally involving Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms, is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of modern data architectures (e.g., data lakes, Delta Lake, medallion architecture) is required.
  • Experience managing testing efforts across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups is necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective testing strategies to ensure high-quality data products.

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve testing goals and objectives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing requirements.

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform testing decisions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data-focused testing roles.

• Strong expertise in SQL and hands-on experience testing data pipelines and transformations.

• Proven track record in data migration projects.

• Solid understanding of modern data architectures.

• Experience managing testing efforts across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
