About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career within a thriving engineering consultancy as a design engineer.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' structural design experience and be motivated to work on the design of temporary works and to develop construction methodology with contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop construction methodologies and temporary works solutions for various projects
  • Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and safe build methodology
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design intent and build reality

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' structural design experience
  • Motivation to work on the design of temporary works and to develop construction methodology with contractors
  • Able to work independently and be client-facing
  • Sound engineering design and ideally, site experience
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
  • Relevant academic qualifications and Chartered status
  • Australian experience, including a sound understanding of AU Standards
