We are seeking a skilled Underground HD Fitter to join our team at Marble. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our underground drilling equipment.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading mining contractor in the UG hard rock mining sector. You will be part of a well-connected team on site with a great culture, reporting into the leading hand on crew.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair diesel mechanical equipment, including Sandvik drills, boggers, trucks, and charge-up equipment.
- Workshop and field service work, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A trade qualification in light vehicle or diesel mechanics.
- A minimum of 12 months' experience working in the UG hard rock mining sector.
- Knowledge of Sandvik, Epiroc, or CAT UG mining equipment.
- An eagerness to continue developing in the UG hard rock mining sector.
- An excellent attitude towards work and learning new skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Prioritization of safety as the number one priority.
