About the Role

The Assistant Retail Manager will lead our Retail Operations Team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to Savers customers and donors.

A typical day includes:

  • Overseeing daily sales floor operations in a big box environment
  • Providing leadership and supervision to a team of up to 12 team members on shift
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and apply creative thinking to increase store sales and profits
  • Leading by example, modelling outstanding customer service by engaging with customers and donors
  • Welcome and training new team members into our business, supporting them to succeed and grow in their roles
About You

To excel in this role, you'll have:

  • Availability for full time hours on a flexible rotating roster from Monday to Sunday
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, such as retail, production, warehousing or hospitality
  • Strong communication and coaching skills to empower and inspire your team
  • Impact driven, with a passion for making a difference in your team and community
  • Customer focused, with a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience at every interaction
  • Eager to learn, adapt and improve
  • Passionate about doing the right thing and standing up for what's right
