About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Graduate Registered Nurse to join our newly developed Graduate Nurse Program at our state-of-the-art aged care residence based in Wagga Wagga.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the health and well-being of our residents while offering them dignity, safety, and independence.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to join our friendly and supportive team. As a Graduate Registered Nurse, you will be working in a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our residents. We offer a structured 12-month graduate nurse program covering comprehensive clinical and development orientation models designed to develop and support you in your first year as a graduate nurse.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
  • Less than 12 months of post-registration clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • An understanding of professional, ethical, and legal requirements as a Registered Nurse.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of like-minded care professionals.
  • An understanding of assessments and developing care plans.
  • Ability to learn to effectively communicate complex care plan needs to incoming residents and their representatives.
  • An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated well-developed computer and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
