About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Home & Community Team. As a valued member of our team, you will provide comprehensive assessment, nursing care, and evaluation of care to enable clients with complex health needs to achieve their healthcare goals and live independently in their own homes.

  • Provide direct clinical nursing care to clients in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Develop holistic nursing care plans in collaboration with clients, carers, Care Advisors, and Allied Health professionals where relevant
  • Liaise with all parties involved in client care to maintain holistic healthcare and wellbeing
Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at Catholic Healthcare, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing safe, quality nursing practice to clients with specific needs or complex needs, such as wound care, palliative care, education, and support
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation
  • Working safely to protect yourself, colleagues, and clients by adhering to policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduate nursing experience
  • Experience in clinical assessments – PAS & RUDAS
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Sound computer skills, especially Microsoft Office products, and ability to pick up new systems
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
