About this scholarship opportunity
Eligibility Requirements- A female student living in the Hunter Valley Region is required to meet the eligibility criteria.
- To be considered, applicants must be preparing to attend university to study a relevant undergraduate Bachelor level degree at an Australian University in one of the following disciplines:
- Mining Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental
- Geology
- Surveying
- Accounting & Finance
- Health & Safety
The selected recipient will have three options available:
- Option 1: work full time on a site and attend university part time
- Option 2: work part time on a site and attend university full time or part time (dependent on study load)
- Option 3: study full time and complete paid vacation work for up to 10 weeks per year on a site
The successful recipient will receive $8,000 per annum to support their studies, for a maximum duration of three years.
