Job Overview

The Regulatory and Security Compliance Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regional and domestic regulations on security, critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, technology, outsourcing, and operational resilience.

This strategic position involves anticipating emerging laws and regulations, developing mitigation approaches, and implementing long-term security and compliance projects for AWS and its regulated customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as an expert on regional and domestic regulations, security, and cybersecurity.
  • Anticipating new laws and regulations and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Developing and executing long-term security and compliance initiatives.

For this esteemed position, we seek a seasoned professional with a strong background in regulatory compliance, banking or non-banking supervision and examination, or government agencies involved in cybersecurity management and operations. A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT Security Management, or related field is required. Familiarity with cloud computing, technology risks, and security is highly desirable.
