About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in HR advisory or generalist roles, ideally with experience in project-based work. A sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and Awards is essential, along with confidence in handling payroll processes and related queries.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing proactive guidance and support to colleagues on HR-related matters
  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking tools to meet compliance, privacy, and audit requirements
  • Collaborating closely with Payroll to answer questions on entitlements, payments, and remediation outcomes
  • Drafting and tailoring communications that are clear, compliant, and aligned with our messaging standards
  • Supporting the broader HR team in creating and updating HR forms, templates, and process documents
Qualifications and Skills

You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and data integrity. Experience in payroll remediation, the education sector, or private equity will be highly regarded.

Affinity with HRIS systems and strong general digital skills will also be beneficial in this role.
