This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Senior Project Officer.
The Senior Project Officer supports the delivery of departmental service coordination for individuals under the Serious Offenders Act 2018. The role will also promote and assist in the effective management and coordination of departmental accountabilities under the legislation.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet organizational objectives, including analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs;
- Provide authoritative advice to stakeholders and prepare detailed reports and briefs on complex matters;
- Complete and review Coordinated Services Plans consistent with established standards and requirements, including tailored service responses and risk assessment and in line with the requirements set out in the Serious Offenders Act 2018.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency;
- A relevant degree in a field related to social work, law, public policy or a related field;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a similar role or in a related field;
- Knowledge of government policies and procedures;
- Ability to work with diverse communities and individuals.
