Job Overview:

The role of a Complex Care Support Worker involves providing comprehensive support to individuals with complex needs.

This is a rewarding and challenging opportunity to make a positive impact on the quality of life of our participants, who rely on us for their daily care and well-being.

We are seeking male support workers who are flexible and available to provide 24/7 support in a SIL house setting. Shifts are available from Monday to Sunday, including AM, PM, and sleepover shifts.

To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience supporting clients with disabilities, mental health, epilepsy, BOC, TIP, and complex behavioral clients. You will also possess relevant nationally recognized qualifications, a valid driver's license, and own reliable transportation.

Additional requirements include current Paid employee Blue Card, Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance, First Aid & CPR certification, NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module, and full Australian working rights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care, meal preparation, domestic duties, and activities of daily living (ADLs) in a SIL house setting
  • Work closely with our participant to understand their needs and preferences
  • Empower participants to live a fulfilling life
  • Be flexible and available to provide 24/7 support
  • Attend to the needs of our participant during shifts
Requirements:
  • Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities
  • Mental health, Epilepsy, BOC, TIP, and complex behavioral experience
  • Relevant nationally recognized qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
