Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment across Western Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to develop their technical service skills and provide quality product support to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical service functions for our products.
  • Perform equipment installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Interface with customers via phone, email, or in-person to provide quality product support.
  • Diagnose faults, perform urgent repairs, and participate in a rotating weekly after-hours on-call roster.
  • Provide applications, user, and technical training.
  • File product complaints according to company procedures.
  • Assist with spare parts inventory management for various products.
  • Identify training needs and make recommendations.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance and troubleshooting records and document accordingly.
  • Document and update internal procedures.
  • Manage and maintain equipment and spares database files through accurate documentation of movement, tracking, and repair statuses.
Requirements
  • A Trade Certificate/Technical Certificate/Diploma with strong hands-on technical service experience.
  • A restricted electrical license.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and systems components.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within New South Wales.
Preferred Skills
  • A full electrical license.
  • The ability to operate a computer, have an intermediate understanding of DOS and Windows, and proficient in Microsoft Office software packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will possess visual acuity and manual dexterity to manipulate tools and equipment to perform essential functions. Customer-oriented and focused individuals are encouraged to apply.
