Job Title: ELICOS Teacher/Pathways Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ELICOS Teacher/Pathways Coordinator to join our team at ILSC Education Group. As a key member of our academic team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Academic Pathways Program, contributing to the academic success of our pathway students, and strengthening the ILSC community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a variety of multimodal ELICOS classes, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid classes.
  • Work collaboratively with ILSC Head Teachers and other ILSC Teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Prepare and upload clear lesson plans prior to each lesson, and perform periodical analyses of student goals and needs against set learning outcomes.
  • Embrace a principled communicative methodological approach, engage students in their learning through a student-centred teaching philosophy, and enhance classroom learning and teaching by implementing new resources and technologies.
  • Provide students with regular formative feedback, including writing tasks and summative academic progress reports in accordance with ILSC guidelines.
  • Monitor the academic progress of pathways students, offer appropriate academic advice, and liaise effectively with various departments within ILSC and external stakeholders.
  • Represent ILSC's core values internally and externally, uphold a collaborative and supportive staffroom ethos, and participate actively in sector Communities of Practice and Special Interest Groups.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Cambridge CELTA or Cert IV TESOL (or equivalent).
  • Excellent understanding of TESOL methodology, programs, and assessment practices.
  • Experience with online learning management systems and multimodal delivery.
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous professional development, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and growth.
