English Language Educator

About the Role: ILSC Education Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Language Educator to join our team as a Pathways Program Specialist. As a key member of our academic team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our Academic Pathways Program, contributing to the academic success of our pathway students, and strengthening the ILSC community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Pathways Coordinators and academic staff across all national campuses to promote the Pathways Program.
- Organize, promote, and run Pathway Orientations to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
- Review pathway student progress and attendance, and follow up as required to ensure students achieve their academic goals.
- Provide ongoing academic advising and support to pathway students, including guidance on higher education and pathway options.
- Assist teachers with any queries regarding pathway students and promote the Pathways Program to current and future students.
- Represent ILSC to agents, marketers, pathway partners, and other institutions as required, showcasing our esteemed reputation in international education.
- Run internal pathway seminars for students and organize partner school tours to foster connections and opportunities.
- Complete all pathways-related administrative tasks efficiently and accurately, including preparing content for social media and slides to highlight successful pathway graduates.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Pathways Program, seeking ways to continually improve the ILSC community and student support.
- Connect with industry colleagues beyond ILSC to identify trends and best practice in pathways programs, ensuring our institution remains at the forefront of international education.
Requirements:
- Recognized Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- Cambridge CELTA or Cert IV TESOL (or equivalent)
- Excellent understanding of TESOL methodology, programs, and assessment practices
- Experience with online learning management systems and multimodal delivery
- Demonstrated focus on continuous professional development (English Australia CPD Framework and NEAS CPD Points highly regarded)
