Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

At our organization, we are currently seeking a skilled IT professional to take on the role of Senior Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise and have experience in maintaining and supporting complex IT infrastructure.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality support services to clients and management to ensure that agreed service levels and client service standards are met.
  • Develop and implement effective change management strategies for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and provide expert advice on maintenance upgrades or enhancements requests for the Departmental IT infrastructure.
  • Research problems and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure reliable and available services.
  • Offer third-level support and maintenance of the Departmental IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business drivers and contribute to client relationships by assisting in the performance analysis of client's infrastructure environments and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and guidelines to ensure continuous improvement of ITS operations.
  • Participate in the development, design, implementation, and evaluation of whole-of-government IT-related initiatives.
  • Provide mentoring and support to junior engineers and support technicians in the appropriate use and support of technologies.
