Early Start Australia is a national multidisciplinary allied health organization committed to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to children and their families. We support over 28,000 families across our 46 clinics nationwide.

We are hiring for a Speech Pathologist to work in our South Morang clinic, providing a combination of clinic and mobile services. This role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours available to suit you.

This position allows you to work without meeting a set amount of billable hours, enabling you to enjoy your days doing the work you love without stress.

What this role offers:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric caseload
  • Assessment and intervention sessions with a mixed caseload in terms of both age and modality of intervention
  • Work closely with key stakeholders providing information, education, and support
  • Ongoing evaluation, training, and review to ensure quality service delivery to clients

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and registration with the relevant professional body
  • A passion for working with individuals who have disabilities to help each client achieve their goals and participate in their community
  • Exceptional communication skills for a culturally rich and diverse environment
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents, and confidence in working closely with their families
  • Compliance requirements – registration, police checks, and First Aid Training
