Aerial Surveillance Specialist

The Australian Defence Force is seeking a skilled Aerial Surveillance Specialist to join our team in Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera, Queensland. As a Aerial Surveillance Specialist, you will remotely pilot a UAV to gather information and provide accurate targeting details during combat missions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate UAVs to observe the battle space
  • Gather vital information to enable tactical decision making
  • Observe meteorological data which would affect the UAV in flight
  • Liaise with air traffic control to maintain safe flying conditions
  • Assist in flight planning and briefings
  • Control the UAV in airspace with other manned and unmanned aircraft
