Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nanny to join our household. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and well-being of our three children, aged 8, 6, and 4 years old.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, fun-loving, and reliable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

The day and normal hours are as follows:

  • Tuesday: 1.45pm - 6.45pm
  • Wednesday: 2.45pm - 6.45pm (optional)
  • Thursday: 8.15am - 6.45pm
  • Friday: 1.45pm - 6.45pm

The nanny's responsibilities will include:

  • Caring for the children
  • Following the children's routine
  • Engaging in age-appropriate activities to assist in the children's development
  • Picking up the children from school/preschool
  • Dropping the children off at school on Thursdays (occasionally)
  • Taking the youngest child out on Thursday for swimming, park/playground etc
  • Taking children to after-school activities
  • Assisting with homework
  • Preparing basic meals for the children and light meals for the parents
  • Family laundry - hanging and/or folding children's laundry and family linens
  • Running errands and grocery shopping
  • Assisting with light household duties

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a nanny/household manager with school-age children
  • A current first aid certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
  • A current working with children's check number
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English
  • A full driver's license and clean driving record (ability to drive our vehicle or own vehicle)
