About the Role
The purpose of this position is to drive business growth and profitability for PFD Food Services by achieving sales, inventory, debtors, and market share objectives for the branch. As a Sales and Operations leader, you will be responsible for overseeing branch operations, coordinating day-to-day administration, and executing sales initiatives through your sales and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
- Manage branch cash flow and expenditure to ensure financial stability
- Lead and manage a team of sales and customer service professionals
- Implement staff evaluation, recruitment, and training programs
- Promote the company and its product range to existing and potential customers
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, quality, and food safety requirements
- Implement occupational health and safety and workers' compensation requirements
