Industrial Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team based in Orange, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mechanical maintenance, repair and installation services for production and packaging equipment within our food manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities- Perform routine preventative maintenance on mixers, pumps, conveyors, filling lines and automated packaging equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults using technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Assist in the installation, assembly and commissioning of new equipment.
- Set up and calibrate machinery according to specifications.
- Collaborate on system modifications to improve performance and safety.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize production disruption.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and compliance records.
- Source and manage inventory of spare parts.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical engineering role.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems in manufacturing environments.
- Competence in preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair techniques.
- Knowledge of WHS requirements and Australian Standards.

SalarySalary for this role is $78,000 - $83,000 + super depending on experience.
