Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in a part-time, fixed-term role. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients and their families to provide emotional support and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychosocial assessments and provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with a project officer and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Foster a positive and dynamic team culture as a Grade 2 clinician

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A qualification in Social Work (current member or eligible for AASW)
  • Relevant work experience as a hospital Social Worker
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
