Job Title: Secondary School Coach

This role involves leading a team of classroom teachers in developing and implementing effective classroom management strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching teachers on Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) approaches, with the goal of improving student engagement and behaviour.

The Secondary School Coach will also develop and review the year level 'Learning for Life' pastoral care program, ensuring it aligns with the school's values and goals. Additionally, this role entails implementing positive education strategies to enhance year level attendance, engagement, and behaviour, as well as leading weekly year level assemblies to promote a supportive school culture.

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • A teaching qualification
  • Current full registration or current provisional registration as a teacher in Queensland
  • An exemption card issued by Blue Card Services
