Job Title: Assembler Technician

This is a Production Assembly Role where you will be responsible for producing equipment through electrical and mechanical assembly.

You will work with basic hand tools, power tools, and perform modification of enclosures, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies. Good hand dexterity and eye–hand coordination are required to assemble/adjust small and critical mechanical parts.

Soldering Skills are also beneficial in this role. You must be comfortable detaching and reattaching large scale socket components associated with heavy industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, work orders, reports, and assembly instructions.
  • Ensure control of assembly steps using the assembly drawings provided.
  • Prepare product components to be assembled and ensure that all of them have been quality-tested.
  • Perform mechanical focused assemblies to the highest quality standards using approved manufacturing procedures on large scale product size.
  • Inspect sub-assemblies for workmanship and compliance to documentation.
  • Perform quality inspection throughout the assembly process.
Qualifications / Experience:
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience using hand and power tools to assemble products.
  • Hand soldering experience.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and excellent manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and interpret part drawings, understand dimensions and tolerances.
