Description:

This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to have experience in designing, building, and distributing secure ICT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of best practice and relevant governance and security principles and frameworks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, logging, tracking, and resolving complex issues pertaining to ICT infrastructure and applications. They will also assist with the development of build defect remediation, create and peer review Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides, and related artefacts.

In addition, the successful candidate will identify and assess technical risks, collaborate with project stakeholders to inform and provide mitigation options and caveats, and provide SME advice to customers and internal & external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • Technical mentoring and supporting of other SME's within the Wintel team.">
  • Demonstrated experience in the build, deploy and support of the following Microsoft technologies: Windows Server 2019, SQL, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, PKI, VMware VCF, Powershell.">
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing highly available/fault tolerant systems, networks and infrastructure in a connected, partially connected, degraded or often disconnected state.">
  • Demonstrated ability to take customer requirements, standards and frameworks and apply in a practical application to future proposed solution designs and systems.">
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas.">
