Job Title: Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team. This is a casual role requiring consistent in-person engagement with clients, working from home and remotely as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing behaviour support plans and conducting functional behaviour assessments as a registered BSP (Core, Proficient or above). They will also provide positive behaviour support to clients and monitor progress, collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure effective service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing behaviour support plans
  • Conducting functional behaviour assessments
  • Providing positive behaviour support to clients
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and ensuring accurate reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 2+ years of experience in developing and implementing behaviour support plans and conducting functional behaviour assessments as a registered BSP (Core, Proficient or above)
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in trauma-informed care, positive behaviour support, restrictive practices, and evidence-based interventions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation and reporting skills
