Empowering residents to live their best lives is a rewarding role for an enthusiastic and effective communicator. As a casual lifestyle assistant, you will play a vital part in maximizing resident participation in leisure and lifestyle programs.

About the Role

We are seeking someone with a Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Cert III in Aged Care who is passionate about delivering person-centered care. This individual will support residents in making informed choices about their leisure and lifestyle activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
  • Participating in the development, implementation, and assessment of therapeutic plans
  • Collaborating with staff and volunteers to deliver leisure and lifestyle programs

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Cert III in Aged Care (essential)
  • Previous experience in Aged Care (highly desirable)
  • Availability and reliability to commit to required shifts
  • Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Check (valid within the last 5 years)
  • Working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
  • Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
