Job Title:

Data Analytics Specialist is responsible for providing assurance to senior management and the Board on the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

The role involves driving a data-driven culture and meeting the data access needs of Internal Audit stakeholders. The specialist will support the delivery of assurance work by analyzing available risk and business data and developing analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower the Internal Audit team through data analytics and reporting
  • Owning high-quality operational reporting from existing management platforms
  • Collaborate with the Analytics Assurance Manager to prioritize analytics projects
  • Maintain data governance documentation and code repositories
  • Access data required for audits in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience using SQL, Python, DAX, and Power Query M
  • Experience working as part of an integrated team involving stakeholders
  • Understanding of data architecture and analysis concepts
  • Experience working in agile environments
  • Exposure to analytics in audit or regulatory environments
