We are seeking an accomplished Data Engineer to lead the development of our data infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to shape Blinq's data practices and drive business impact.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can design and maintain scalable data processing systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL, data modeling tools like dbt, and programming languages such as Python or R.

The successful candidate will be hands-on with a modern event data stack and familiar with tools such as Segment, Amplitude, BigQuery, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, and AWS/GCP.

A strong vision for building a scalable, reliable, and cutting-edge analytics platform is essential. The ability to develop a roadmap to achieve this is also crucial.

Mathematical, statistical, and data visualization skills are necessary for success in this role. Experience working with data systems that support machine learning workflows and proficiency in A/B testing are desirable.

As a Data Engineer at Blinq, you will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to align data systems with business goals. You will collaborate on cross-functional efforts to address data quality, reporting, and insights, while remediating inconsistencies and gaps.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain scalable data processing systems and databases
  • Build and optimize data pipelines to support the collection, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data into data warehouses or lakes
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing robust validation and monitoring processes
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams
