Job Title: Medical Health Support Specialist

Job Description:

This role will provide medical support to a joint defense program based in Alice Springs, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first aid and emergency medical services, conducting health examinations, and nursing services to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first aid and emergency medical services to employees as needed.
  • Conduct regular health examinations and provide nursing services to ensure the well-being of employees.
  • Interact with injury management, workers compensation, and outside compensation providers to facilitate smooth processes.
  • Prepare and maintain records associated with incidents, health history, and injuries occurring at the worksite.
  • Maintain an inventory of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) equipment and first aid supplies.
  • Assist in performing drug and alcohol testing at the worksite.
  • Oversee other health issues such as drinking water, food preparations, and safety of living areas.
  • Perform duties by following established procedures and regulations.
  • Provide healthcare to employees at various locations.
  • Exercise judgment within generally defined procedures and current regulations in selecting methods and techniques for treatment.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and a compassionate approach to patient interactions, supporting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional care.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain accurate records.
